TJ HALSEMA

TJ is a current resident of Atlanta Georgia. He started racing karts in 2005 and was selected to participate in the 2005 Red Bull Driver Search after 3 months of racing experience where he then finished 33rd of the 250 karting drivers selected. From there he moved to Legends Cars were he set the road course lap record at Atlanta Motor Speedway for those cars, along with 6 Hard Charger awards. In 2009 TJ began sim-racing online and has not put it down since. Since 2009, TJ has been a consistent front runner in the VOR, ERL, SROL, and SimdyCar Series with several class and overall victories to his name. 

He joined us in 2012 as an endurance driver for the extra long races. He has since gone on to drive in various open wheel series for us such as the iracing 16th Street Racing League and GPVWC Supercup seasons. He has also been successful in our real world endurance karting program as well.

In addition to driving, TJ has played a vital role in pushing our new marketing department forward. For the team to be successful with moving drivers from the sim to real worlds it needs help from sponsors and partners. TJ has been helping us partner with companies and series since he joined in 2012 but has since stepped up to the lead of our marketing team in 2017.
